The 18-storey purpose-built student block will rise on India Street, close to the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University, with construction expected to complete by July 2027.
Eldridge’s latest backing brings its total support for Vita student projects to nearly £1bn across nine schemes delivering close to 7,000-beds.
The Glasgow deal will see McAleer & Rushe act as both developer and main contractor, continuing its long-running relationship with Vita.
Eldridge global real estate credit boss John Cole said: “This development takes a meaningful step toward addressing the pressing need for high-quality student accommodation.”
The project, designed by Sheppard Robson, will replace the former Strathclyde Regional Council office.
The scheme will feature studio flats from 18 to 29 sq m, alongside premium amenities including a gym, cinema, games lounge, and dedicated study areas. Vita will also provide concierge services, social events, and fortnightly cleaning as part of its tailored resident offer.
